Weather was fogy/cloudy so I was aware of the fact that any footage I'll make is beyond my capabilities of making useful in post
Went outside flying just for the sake of flying

I have an open balcony with very distinctive pattern on it so I've put the Mavic 2 in the middleLanding.png

Didn't pay attention to battery level much because I was close to home so RTH was triggered automatically
It landed about 2" low and 1" to the left
That's really, really close for a flying object but terrain has to have enough of distinctive features

Plan is to make a big X on my portable landing pad with lines about 1/4" wide, just like spaces between these tiles

Does the Mavic use the camera to land? And not the actual GPS system?

have you considered piloting the landing yourself?

That's pretty close. I don't think there is any way to consistently (or ever) land dead on the mark.

As soon as your Mavic takes off, you'll likely notice it moves off the mark just a bit. If you're somehow able to make it ascend straight up (without moving that bit), hitting the mark dead on might be doable then.
