I have been using iMovie for vlog stuff and my Mavic videos. I would love to have something more advanced for transitions, color grading, and graphics. So I checked out Premier Pro and was shocked they want $19 a month. Is this worth the $240 a year? I actually think the $240 isn't bad but the consecutive years...this is an expensive endeavor. Someone convince me this is worth it. Or, any suggestions for an upgrade for Mac? Thanks.

I tried Davinci Resolve and I think it's good enough to face Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro. But it runs mainly on your graphic card, not CPU. So better have at least a GeForce 1060, 1070 or even a 1080.

Edited: I forgot to say it's free!

My MAC has this; Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB. Will this work?

I guess so. I also think any newer graphic card should fit for the job. I say you should give it a try since it's free, in the worst case you'll suffer some lag.
