I hope these are good batteries but geez, every week there's a new article about a new battery but nothing goes into production AND found to be safe from blowing up, fires, dying for reasons unknown, and other things I can't think of right now.

Lithium polymer batteries are fairly safe but they do spontaneously combust on occasion. FPV flyers with the multi-cell batteries have to be extra careful. Camera drone batteries have built-in circuit boards with programming to keep them from overcharging or staying charged to help them last longer and be safer but they still swell from time to time.

I look forward to the day when current sized drone batteries give 1, 2, even 3 hours of flight time and charge in under 10 minutes.
