RC-N1 charging phone- can it be disabled?

New to the Mini 3 Pro, noticed that when I plug my Google Pixel 7 into the RC N1 controller it starts charging the phone.

I don't want it to do that so I was wondering if this function can be disabled. I can't tell the phone not to accept the free power...

It's part of the Android specs. Fully charge your phone before flying is the best solution.

I've had that issue with my pixel, you can change the charging setting by going into Android developer mode on the phone and tweaking some settings. The other way is to get a special usb cable with the DC line disconnected, they do sell them. I didn't do any of this, just made sure the phone was mostly charged before using it with the drone. It's not been an issue and I've dealt with this since my Pixel 3 and Im currently up to a pixel 8.
