I replaced the right front motor on the mavic pro, now I the drone wants to tip right. It will also serge.
Any thoughts?

Try recalibrating your IMU and compass.

Edit: also recalibrate your remote control.

Oh, and welcome to the forums! Thumbswayup

Ok I just finished compass and emu calibration. Still tips to one side. I am holding it in my and to make sure it doesn't take off and crash. The motors will suddenly go full power and its all I can do to hold on to it as I shut it down.

Thanks

Welcome to the group! When you resoldiered the wires did you get them back in the right order? Here is a good video for replacement:

I believe I did. I took a picture of wiring before I started. It is possible there is solder melted over to the other solder point. I am trying to examine it.

I did find one of my connections was not soldered properly. I reworked and this solved the tipping problem.
I am starting the unit while holding in my hand, all seems well, bu it will suddenly go to full power. Could this bee the downward sensor seeing my hand and avoiding a collision?

Thanks
