I have two machines:
-Surface Pro 6, i5
-9700k desktop with ninja insides.
Both use, for my sins, Corel Videostudio 2018. When it doesn't crash, or output properly, I usually a 4k version and a 1080p version. It's quite fast, as far as I'm aware, on either machine. I've never captured in 2.7k, as that's a rather random resolution if you intend the video to be on Youtube, or play on your 4k television. 8K is here, for some reason, which adds another nail to the 2.7k res.
