It's weird it's been floating there so long - I would think the Harbor Master (if there is one) has kept an eye on it. As to your video, the fall colors and the glassy-smooth water is awesome.

I saw kids walking around the sailboat in this footage on the ice in January. In the spring I took the canoe out there and I could touch bottom with my paddle so maybe it's stuck in the mud? It never changes orientation in the wind and it's sitting cross current. The boom seems to have fallen and broken some of the guard rail lines at deck level. Now it's below zero again at night and it looks like it's going to stay where it is. I wonder what's up? Abandoned sailboat?

If it's that shallow, then the keel is certainly down in the mud.
