US: What To Do If Your Temporary Airman Certificate is Expiring Soon

For those of you who recently got their Part 107 remote pilot certificate, congratulations! If your temporary certificate is about to expire, please have a look here: Resources - Notices - FAA - FAASTeam - FAASafety.gov

Basically, you can request temporary authority to exercise certificate privileges.

Thanks for your posting. I am in this situation and my temporary certificate expires on 1/27, but the instructions in the FAA PDF state:

If the information from the website matches your current Temporary Airman Certificate that is about to expire, your application has been processed by the FAA and you can request temporary authority to exercise privileges or a replacement certificate from Airmen Online Services.

When I search, my certificate has not been processed so I believe this means I am out of luck until it is. I’m curious if anyone else is in this situation and agrees with my assessment or if I’ve done something wrong in the search.
