USB v USB Mini

Took delivery of my M Pro last week. Using the mini USB port to iPhone option I found I kept getting loss of image and occasionally loss of signal to the iPhone altogether. Having viewed some very helpful posts on here I used the middle USB port on the controller and it has been perfect ever since. I checked the connection a lot on the mini USB and it was firmly in. Anyone know why this appears to be a problem?

Mini usb cable port is horrible on the RC ! I have the same issue ! Sometimes I have hard time charging the RC but the middle USB works perfect . Mine is 2 weeks also .
