UV Filter and Screen glare

Hi everyone, would a UV filter stop the sun glare on my iphone X? I find it really hard to see the phone screen on sunny days. It's always sunny here! OR should I look at getting a sun hood? If I can get one that fits my iphone X

No, get a shade. Filters only change the image taken and transmitted, not the environmental effects on the screen that modify what you see.

I have an anti glare - matt screen protector on my Samsung tablet & that helps a lot in the sun.

Thank you. Most of the shades that I can find do not suit a Iphone X which is around 145 long. Any suggestions? I'm in Australia.
