Emmanuel Papas (born in Dovista, Macedonia, today Emmanuel Papas in 1772) was a Greek merchant, banker, member of the Friendly Society and leader of the Greek Revolution of 1821. He was the leader of the uprising of Independence. On May 17, 1821 he proclaimed the Revolution in Macedonia as "leader and defender of Macedonia".
