I’m alternating between using an iPad Pro and my iPhone 6. If I can set up a deck chair, or even better a deck chair and a table, the iPad Pro is superior. If I’m flying standing, the iPad Pro is too big, doesn’t attach to the controller and just doesn’t work so I use the iPhone but I guess the iPad mini would be better for this. Bottom line, if you can only use one, I think an iPad mini will likely offer the best balance of larger screen and portability. Given my experience with the iPhone 6, I don’t think speed is a big factor.
