Why do I have two separate FAA Registration numbers?

I just realized I have two FAA registration numbers, one for Part 107 and the other for recreational flyers, thus paying $5 twice for registering my Air 3. Is this normal by default? Both registration numbers begin with "F" and are the same character count.

I would just keep the recreational number for my other toys. AS FAR AS the 107 number just make sure that is the number you use when you are flying under part 107 or you could have a big problem.
Just remove the one drone you plan to fly under 107 from the recreational number and keep that number for your other RC vehicles.
