Mini 5 pro gone from DJI store and website

Good day, I'm in Canada and went to DJI'S website and store to research the mini 5 pro battery and the mini 5 pro no longer exists! What gives????

    Mini5 plus battery in Mini4???

I can't speak for the 5 I do know my mini 3 standard battery stopped working in my 4 pro after a FW update. The plus and the 4 standard battery worked in both so how the 5 battery will play along with a 3 or 4 remains to be discovered.

Is the Mini 5 Pro a sub-250g drone?

I just read about over 250g weight issue as well. OOPS! My mini 4 pro is registered (as was my mini 3 when I had it) so I could fly legally with the plus battery but at least they were legal with the standard battery. This is not so with the 5. I'm very surprised DJI would let this pass....

Mini 5 Pro: What all that know…knows so far.

To be very honest, as you can see in my signature, I have 2 minis, a Mavic 3 Classic and a NEO. After I bought the NEO I wondered why I even have any minis. The NEO is flyable with an RC or a phone or with nothing! Honestly it is the most most capable aircraft I own and is a blast to play...

Mini 5 Pro: What all that know…knows so far.

You can't go wrong with any Dji aircraft, I've owned many of all shapes and sizes and they were all trustworthy and reliable. You don't need a part 107 for a mini. But the minis, as tough as they are, simply can't compete with their big brothers. You'd think a smaller aircraft would be less...

Two new failed Mavic 3 batteries?

The Mavic 3 has been around long enough that it's possible you have a couple old (but new) batteries that haven't been properly maintained and have failed.

    Increase Max altitude

The max altitude allowed on the Mavic 3 is 1000 meters. But only in certain areas. It will automatically change to 500m in restricted areas.

Mini 5 Pro: What all that know…knows so far.

I have the Mini 3 (non pro) and the mini 4 pro. The mini's are awesome little drones but will always be limited by their size. I honestly see no need for a mini 5, if you want improvements over the mini4 pro go bigger. My Mavic 3 is still my goto aircraft for serious longer range photography...

Question re: ATTI mode for the Air3S

It's a shame that Atti mode disappeared with the Phantom series, I enjoyed flying with it with both my P2 and P3. The P2 did have a full manual mode which was crazy.

How many here dont know how to fly?

Flying and Recording Video are two VERY different things. I learned video skills decades ago with my camcorder. Some home videos are painful to watch due to jerky sudden movements and simple lack of planning. These skills also apply to airborne cameras. Being able to pilot a drone doesn't...

Mini 3 (NOT PRO) Carbon Fiber Propellers

Not according to what I've found:

Mini 3 (NOT PRO) Carbon Fiber Propellers

I had to first confirm that the mini 3 props are indeed different than the mini 3 pro props and they are different and NOT interchangeable. I'm in Canada and not the UK but a quick search shows Amazon.CA has carbon fiber props for the mini 3.

Can a mavic 3 pro be shut down mid air and recover?

I've seen the video, it was a Phantom 3, being recorded with a Phantom 4. And yes it was shut down, and restarted and successfully recovered, BARELY!! It was shutdown at the P3's max altitude of 500M (1640 feet). Illegal and dangerous but it did succeed. My guess it was from a combination of...

Long range fliers - share your tips of flying long range?

I love this thread. Really we are talking about responsible and safe flight. It's irrelevant if it's manned or unmanned flight because ultimately, no flight is ever 100% safe. There is always risk. The real questions are, have all potential risks been evaluated and mitigated. Does the risk of...
