Nice bit of clarification. Thanks.
Bottom line, for mightypilot2000 it depends on what you want to achieve. If pure resolution matters, try 48mp, but check your results and decide for yourself what is best. That's what I did and I found 12mp works best for my photography work.
I’m not sure what he means, but put very simply: the Mini 3 has a 48mp sensor. It includes a quad-bayer filter which “bins” pixels 4 to 1. In general, this is done because the 48 mega pixels are tiny and may suffer in low light.
Last I checked however, the Mini 3 will not do RAW at 48mp...
I think English is not the OPs native language. I think he meant “are all Mini 3s like this”. Basically wanting to know if his drone is faulty.
Your answer was excellent
At least one launch was from the summit of Everest... you can see the Tibetan flags there when the guy hand launches.
I imagine a lot of the other footage came from flights launched lower down.
I thought the same thing about the Sherpas... hope they were well compensated.
I'm fine with the photos from my Mini 3 so far. Not quite as good as the Air 2S, especially in low light.
But photography in general is more about subject, composition, etc.
This photo from my Mini 3 is not particularly sharp, but I've gotten a lot of positive response from it. This was a RAW...
Can't disagree with your last comment... I think the Air 2S is still my favorite, mostly due to IQ and wind stability.
However, do you actually have the mini 3 Pro and have you flown it much? I have, and even though the sub-250g does not provide legal/regulatory benefits here in the US, it is...
