    Hey, just wanted to follow up. I've gotten out flying a few times, but still haven't found any good spots. I'm planning on trying lakewood park, seems to be a popular destination here. Was wondering if you had any better luck finding local places to fly.

    Hey Flying Penguin, sorry about the delayed response...I missed this somehow. I found a really cool spot but it's about an hour drive west in Vermillion.

    I flew right from the beach standing a few feet away from the lighthouse. You can get some cool lighthouse, beach, marina, lake shots.

    Best of all it is completely out of ATC controlled airspace so you have nothing to worry about. I guess the only precaution you have to make is to not fly directly over the beach and the people swimming from it.
