AeroJ replied to the thread DJI Mini 4K Hacks - Using a DJI RC Transmitter.Skids are OK, (unless they take your drone over a weight limit you need to stick to) but mostly rendered unnecessary if you have a landing pad, which evens out most typical surfaces enough so that camera calibration doesn't hit the ground.

I think I figured it out. I was using a usb-a to usb-c cable. Switched to a usb-c to usb-c and it worked much better. Did order the 100w block msinger suggested. So that should make things better as well. Thanks all.
