What’s going on? - Mini3 secretly spied on me

Maybe it's the Find my drone function, you can just repeat the flight somewhere else and check again for 30 seconds of recording before landing

    MAVIC 3S ??

If a reviewer does not say what the companies are pleased to hear, when they send them a product for review, then they'll be out of business. That's why 99% of the reviews are positive or strongly positive, worst case is they have a neutral review. So..... Youtube? Paid promotion? No thanks...

No Drones Allowed - Can they say this?

I'd first ask what the reason for this is, and then ask the scotish FAA if flying there is a restricted area (or if they have officially file for a restricted zone). And if you have the right to fly there. But, you know....? Why don't you just go fly somewere else and leave your money elsewere...

Pro Baltimore City- View of the inner harbor

Ah I see. So only the licenced ones are able to exceed the above level, if above a high structure.

Pro Baltimore City- View of the inner harbor

In the EU it's like this, you can fly up to 15 meters above the highest structure. Check the regulations for your area.

Got a call from FAA today...do I really need my Part 107?

It goes after the EU regulation where you have to do some online training and online exams to get a license. https://uas.hcaa.gr/Content/Images/FAQ/Table15.jpg But nothing specific for photos and getting some profit out of them. You get a license only in case something bad happends (to have you...

Got a call from FAA today...do I really need my Part 107?

If you get on the roof of your house and take a photo, you're good to go. If you flight a drone at the same altitude and take the same photo, you need a 107. Not sure whether you need a 107 if you get on the roof and take a photo from the drone while holding it in hand! Crazy days...

How to tell my wife when you purchase something

Usually I don't mention the cost of it! My wife is not working so I provide the income, but she's always on the "don't spend money on stupid things" side. LOL. 90% of the time she just doesn't care what I buy, and doesn't know whether it costs 50 or 5000 unless I tell her. It's usually "ah it's...

    People complaints

All these sound like first world country problems. Sometimes the best solutions is to live in a small city where no one is bothering you from flying anywhere you want, no rules or administrations or boards or police.

Just purchased Mavic Air 2 with "Oxffe Error"....will DJI replace with new unit?

I don't think it's stolen. According to your photo, it has all parts in their bags, it's a complete set. So for the stolen idea, we need the following: 1)Someone bought it but couldn't activate it 2)It got the oxffe error 3)He left it somewhere (along with all extras, all spare parts, all...

    Legality of flying at home

It depends on where you live. Here in Greece people don't really care so you can take off from almost anywhere without others even complaing about, but don't push it too (=don't spy on other people), just take off and do a fly around your area. People usually wave their hands at it. In the UK...
