Sounds good. You can fly there but the standard rules apply (cant take off/must land if there is a manned flight). The only place i have come across that is a 100% ban is Sydney habour and the area directly north of it

Thanks. The 3 sisters? No, not really, some have done it. There is a track to walk up beside them which is nice. The other rocks which only appear breifly is the Ruined Castle - you can climb them.

Yes. Closed app and restarted it. As controller still connected no worries. I believe if everything disconnects, i.e. you drop the controller and it smashes, then the drone will auto RTH when the battery is low. Side point: same thing happened yesterday to me (phone disconnects, ×3 in 4 weeks...

I have had this issue twice in the last month. Once i restarted the app and it worked again and once it did not. Both times thr controller worked fine and the drone was nearby so no issue. I have an andriod phone with the latest firmware on devices

Hi everyone, today i returned to the exact same area of the park, same drone, same battery, same phone etc. The only difference is it was 48 hrs later. I didnt change firmware or calibrate or anything And...everything worked fine. No idea how or why this happened. Thanks for your help

Last night was the 1st time i used it. Encounting this issue concerned me enough to not want to try a manual take off. I will redo the calibration after work today or tomorrow and if that doesnt work will try a manual take off. Thanks

Good idea but no. It is in RC mode. The drone responses to some commands from controller (even joystick when on ground for the camera) just not in the air. I will try again after work and redo the calibration to see if this resolves it.
