Mini 2 Alberta/British Columbia Cinematic Compilation

Ah, forgot it is still processing. So HD should show eventually. It is a bit long yes, didn't realize how much footage I captured! The CineSticks definitely make it easier for the precise control. So good that you'll accidentally make cinematic shots even.

How high have you been with your Mini 2?

Oh, well in that case, 1627 m (5338 ft.) at Kicking Horse Pass.

Mini 2 Alberta/British Columbia Cinematic Compilation

I crashed my poor mini 2 on my first light at the very start of this road trip, Thankfully, it only suffered broken props otherwise, the following video would not have happened! Enjoy scenic views of the Rocky Mountains, Fraser River area, BC Ferries, etc. Also, I totally recommend getting...

How high have you been with your Mini 2?

122 Meters/400 Feet since that is the max height I'm allowed to go in Canada. Just never risked going higher lol.

Mini 2 Flying along the winding railroads of British Columbia, Canada.

Thank you all! Glad to hear you all enjoyed it :) All the spots were near the Trans Canada Highway. The ones I can think of from the top of my head are Kicking Horse Pass, Notch Hill, & along the Fraser Canyon.

Mini 2 Flying along the winding railroads of British Columbia, Canada.

Thanks!! Most of the time I got lucky. Got to the spot and boom, a train was coming. Also sometimes kept staying ahead of the same train. Helps that the tracks stay close to the main highway through BC. :)

Thought I was going to make one compilation of my trip through B.C. but it turns out I just had too many train shots so I just made a train compilation! Trains & drones go together like bread and butter I think.

No longer have a crash free record :(

Haha, love it. Usually do a pre-check but this time my only concern was the trees. Still didn't even see the powerline initially when spotting my mini, wondering what the heck I hit.

No longer have a crash free record :(

Had a Phantom 3 for a few years, never crashed it. Had many flights with my mini 2 so far and starting my trip through British Columbia, I planned to fly lots more. Very first flight of the day and I smack into a power line. I was bringing it back home along the ditch beside a road, with trees...

The mini 2 is snug as a bug

Got the RLSOCO case myself. Lots of room for everything.

Mini 2 Following the train through town

Didn't even notice that. Likely because when I edited it, it got rendered at 60 fps.

Mini 2 Following the train through town

Haha, glad you like it! Was on the bucket list. As for the heliport, there is no heliport there. At least not an active/marked one. A heliport is in town but is currently closed due to needing repairs.

Mini 2 Following the train through town

Haha. Thank you! I took note of the power lines before doing this flight so I knew to avoid them. :) That was a mini 2 yes and I was at a stationary point. I'm by the silver compact car to the left at 1:45.
