Hand held Gimbal stabiliser for Mavic Pro

Thanks for the response Fleek. Yeah not too concerned about the public look as I would be pretty selective where I used it. I like that the video settings and use of ND filters will produce consistent quality results with ariel shots. It also saves the cost of an Osmo.

Hand held Gimbal stabiliser for Mavic Pro

Has anyone had experience with these? Are they worth it as an alternative to a more expensive system? I was considering the following off eBay Camera Tray Dual Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer Bracket For DJI Mavic Pro/Platinum | eBay Any advice welcome. Cheers!

ND16 filter not enough for sunny day?

I also live in Western Australia. I fly a Mavic Pro. I just ordered an ND64 as I found on our typically sunny days (especially beach footage) that the 32 is still not quite ideal.

    First Drone

I have a Mavic Pro. I am also a relative newbie to droning. I am very happy with it and still have not fully used it to its capabilities. With the release of the new Mavic 2 series I recon the best value for money at the moment would be a Mavic Pro 1 or Platinum. They have dropped in price and...

Lost Connection Results in Destruction of Brand New Mavic Air/1st Flight

DJI refresh will be your friend! I crashed my Mavic Pro by my own stupidity. I flew in dronie quick shot mode and piled backwards into my house! [emoji13] DJI sent me a priority post label. I sent to them. They quoted $320 to fix. I said I wanted to use my refresh (1st life) They sent me an...

    First crash!

Went through refresh warranty. Must say very happy with process and communication! Was provided a quote to repair or option of using refresh. Repair was about $320 AUD. Warranty expires December so opted for new unit. It’s on the way! Still have one more life under my belt[emoji16]

    First crash!

Nah. You get 2 gos. My refresh expires in December and this will be first claim. I’m in Australia so it will cost maximum $139 to correct the issue or replace the drone. Second time will cost $199. I recon after that you deserve to pay full replacement cost if you haven’t given up flying! [emoji38]

    First crash!

I am so careful but today I had my first crash with my Mavic Pro! I was using a quick shot mode (dronie) and failed to allow for enough reverse distance. I hit the gutter in my house and it crashed to the pavement! Flys ok but gimbal mount beoke[emoji24] I have the refresh warranty. Does that...

iPad Air 2 ok for 4K video editing?

I have since purchased an iPad Pro and it works great! I just have to get my head around colour grading and other post edits.

    Sandy Cape Western Australia

Thanks for the feedback all! I understand the horizon issues now after researching a bit. I need to rotate and crop to keep it level. Will maybe re-edit. Colour grading still needs work but will learn over time. Trial and error but good fun learning! Yes Bushie, this is our favourite...

    Video editing help

Thanks Lisadoc. I have posted in Airtasker and had some responses. All were for online tutorial services. I have also viewed heaps of good YouTube videos and LumaFusion’s tutorials. However, I may be old school but prefer to have someone sit down and teach me. If I can’t find a local tutor may...

First sunset using ND 16 Polar Pro

Is there really a big difference in quality and result of an ND filter? I use PGYTECH on my Mavic Pro. Don’t have anything to benchmark test it against. Everyone seems to rave about Polar Pro but is it for good reason? No disrespect intended. Sorry if I have flung this thread off course.
