Hi, I just returned my Mavic Pro to flight. I put Platinum props on it. Does anyone know what the settings are to adjust the gimbal shake from changing the props? Thanks
So, I found another issue from the crash. The front left axis pin which holds the arm in place shears so I ordered a new one. About $9 on Amazon. $3 from China if you want to wait weeks.
Thanks. Another site I found helpful is Ifixit.com. I've been using them for cell phone repair and other electronics. I found several tutorials for the Mavic Pro. I'm now just waiting for the body shell to come from Amazon.
Attached are pix of the crash site and the drone damage. Parts came to...
You've come to the right place. I have been flying a DJI Mavic Pro for over 1 year. It has the capability to make excellent video and still aerial photography which would be perfect for you. Read the reviews to decide what model and price point are right for you. I am very satisfied with my...
But the good news is that I got it all on video. It was pilot error. I eased too close to a tree and vertically climbed right into a branch. DJI's excellent software led me right to the crashed bird where I recovered it and the separated battery in bushes. After assessing damage it appears that...
I agree. My company used to use Adobe products until they went to subscription-based pricing. They began phasing out Adobe with cheaper yet acceptable alternatives. Adobe was once the king of PDF and photo/video editing but other competitors have stepped in with affordable alternative solutions...
Bear in mind. There's one major drawback to the FIMI 8 SE. It doesn't have collision avoidance. To me, that's critical because I like to shoot video. With CA I can get more dramatic video because of the ability to fly fast, close and in between obstacles such as trees, bridges, etc. Because of...
I get you. I'm just not into editing. I wish I had more patience for it but that's just me. I still wouldn't pay for an Adobe subscription. I hate that they stopped selling their software several years ago.
I don't see the purpose of paying a subscription to Adobe. What I do is use the paid version of Windows movie maker cause quite honestly I don't like editing. And regardless of how you edit, YouTube only broadcasts it at 720p. I do keep all my raw footage on Blu-ray discs I burn every once in a...
I've been using the DJI low noise props with gain set at 86 for some time now with good results. I will say the drone seems a little jerky sometimes and I'll try tweeking the gain to 90 to see what happens. It's pretty minor and not noticable on video. It just seems to brake a little hard.
