So the final sad end of the saga is I still never got a response back about it just needing a sync, but today, only after I made that post and filed a complained with BBB (who contacted them) I got another notice that it is being sent back, with no explanation or anything else. The drone arrived...

That last line is unclear, but they seem to imply I never replied. In reality, it is is they who stop replying to REPEATED email and calls+ voicemails. Once I described what I'd already done in repairs and questioned whether they were sure it need the cam replacement and not just a camera sync...

I know all that. That is why I tried asking some questions from them about it and sent it in in the 1st place. But none of that is even the point anymore. The point is not being able to even get my drone back. It's still worth $100-200 to me in parts.

So you've seen this before with them?Know anyone who found a way to get it back and how? How are there not more warning about these crooks on the groups? I mean, they basically stole my drone.

I wonder if anyone else has similar experience and how they dealt with it? This company appears to be holding my damaged drone hostage for overpriced repairs I do not wish to do. I crashed my Mini and had to replace the flat ribbon cable to the camera/gimbal. There is no other visible damage...

I was wondering about that part, but saw a bunch of them for sale on eBay. Don't seem to be finding now, though. So either i misunderstood something or the need for the has gone away now that DJI started offering Fly-Away coverage too. So are these worth anything?

Why do you say that? The Care Refresh now covers water damage. And salt water no exception

"body only, for warranty replacement" are eslling on ebay for around $100

yers. i'm sure it's the plastic parts only. but I haven't take one aprt before and not sure what the parts are valuable. Asking before I go spending time taking them apart.

I have a related question: I am a diver and my instructor fiend has several drones he's recovered from salt water. he sent me Two Mavic Air to sell for parts on eBay. I know people buy the body to use for warranty replacement (presumably Care Refresh when they own unit flew away). We don't know...

Have a Mavic Mini 1. I can not get Track or Follow to work. In Track I can set the focus (square) on myself and on the screen it seems to track me, at least at first. But when I select Follow, agre to the "risks", and walk the drone doesn't move. As I walk the square just keeps getting larger...
