I have my 5 p4 batteries and 3 MA2 batteries numbered with labels.
I’ll plug them in To the drones 1-2 times a month and view the charge count from the DJI app. Then update the charge counts into a excel log on my ipad.
Before I go fly I arrange the batteries in my case according to number of...
Drone will warn you if the sd card is too slow. At least that’s what happened with me when I put in my 32gb Samsung SD that came with my phantom into my Mavic air 2.
Faster card essentially ensures the write speeds can keep up with what the camera is recording. Not sure what would...
Looks like DJI has created some new authorization zones covering large parts of Alameda and Santa Clara with the fires ongoing.
Says they'll be active for approx two months.
These are the "blue" zones that just require on unlock through the app. I don't see any red zones near the fires at...
Sounds like an ideal landing position to me. My first time with a precision landing I launched from a 12"x24" ice chest in my back yard. When she tried to land I got the message.
She would have landed squarely back on the lid of the ice chest but I could tell the drone didn't like trying to...
The drone thinks it's seeing uneven terrain or not flat enough landing surface. If you hold the stick down she'll land.
I get this sometimes, just re-position your landing pad and try again.
Thanks Sar and everyone else. I read through that linked thread last night, very helpful.
The mini I was flying was a replacement from DJI I received last week, it had updates to do out of the box and I recall running them all. I even updated each battery before my first flight.
I haven't...
I'm hopeful someone can tell me what mistake I made here, I was cruising around the beach on the 4th on a lake we were camping at. Was doing some high speed passes on sport mode, I made a 180 pivot from running at full speed, and began to move forward in the opposite direction as I lowered my...
With respect, I think the OP should learn more about the basic functions and capabilities of his new drone before flying it, let alone trying to jerry rig it so it resembles a flying IED.
I smashed my Mini into my house on my 2nd flight. Broke one of the arms off. Sent it in and had it replaced, mine went to Texas. Interesting that your MA2 would go to CA.
I just received my replacement mini Monday, total turnover was 20 days for me.
Pretty happy with my DJI care experience...
