Considering how many warning messages the pilot missed I would be pretty surprised if he didn't miss something else. The guy seems to have some serious problem with decision making (starting with his choice of the place to fly the drone at).

Because sending the full quality pics/videos while taking them would effective jam the data stream between the drone and RC (which is primarily meant for control signal and flight data).

You have probably solved it already, but just in case: The drones under 250g don't need to be registered unless there is a camera on them (there is an exception for toys also). As for Mavics, all of them need to be registered. A registration from an EU country should be valid in all the others...
