When I took a look at the settings and educated myself after the fact, it looks like that’s the preset RTH height on Lichti. Good pilot protocol would always go check your RTH prior to taking off

So, looking at the Mavic mini... Will the price go under $400 any time soon for a starter package? With Mini2 out, maybe I wait out the summer and see if the original gets cheaper.

The little thing will fly into the stratosphere if you let it! I only go high enough to clear the nearest obstacle, the wind can change drastically in even a few meters. Sending you drone to the next county. My mishap happened because I was stupid and didn't take the time to set RTH altitude.

I recently donated my mavic mini to the Colorado landscape while attempting to utilize the Litchi follow mode. When I lost connection due to trees blocking VLOS, the drone proceeded to descend to the preset 15m and return to home. Unfortunately, some trees interfered with that plan and 3 hours...

Does it work to use the "follow me" function?

Does dronelink have follow me mode? It looks like it is fully functional with IOS? I am getting a couple of mini's for my classroom and would like to purchase Ipads to use. Is the Ipad a bad decision for the mini?

What about third party apps if I don't have a hot spot or wifi? like litchi

So, as far as flying and gps goes, I should get everything I want without activation?

I am currently starting a CTE (shop class) program at our school. I would like the mavic mini to be a part of the Engineering class curriculum. I have one and love it. Especially now that there may be more capabilities from third party apps soon! My school currently does not have a cellular...

Is there any permenant damage to the batteries at that temp? What are the drawbacks. Up here in Dakota, it would be nice to fly in sub-freezing temps.

So...I'm thinking it's not to far of a stretch to call this feature "follow my RTH".
