So I’ve been in Eugene about a month for work and here until March. Would love to know som good places to fly along the coast or anywhere around the state. I have plenty of time
To head out when I off so they more places the better
What’s the closest I can fly and film near Mt Saint Helens? I have seen some videos of people flying around the Johnston observatory and get pics of the mountain with zoom of course. Just figuring out the best take off spot.
thanks
Thinking about flying near the salt river and where they launch tubes for tubing the river. Anyone fly out there? Should not be crowded tomorrow morning.
Thanks
I was flying yesterday in Southern Utah at the Mexican Hat right off the San Juan river and all was going well and boom I lost everything on the screen. My satellites went from 16 to 0 and then the screen went black. I waited a 2-3 minutes and nothing so I hit RTH and it came right back. Crazy...
Yep I’m off baseline and hardy. I have seen all kinds of flights on YouTube over Tempe town lake and asu etc. and most within the description said they got clearance ahead of time. Seems odd as that is in a direct take off/landing slope
I think I'm going to head out to the new Cub stadium and do some flying there. Should get great shots of he baseball fields and park right there.
So the Hover app said I was all good but the B4UFly app says flight restriction even though I'm 6.6 miles from the airport which is odd.
Anyhow...
came in late but thats it. I will fly tomorrow and use my #1 battery, then I will charge and fly battery #2 another time and so on.
Question: Should I just wait until all 3 are dead before charging 1 at a time or does it really matter?
I see most people number their batteries if they have multiples to keep them all gather equally. Can I just use pair or nail polish. Will it effect the battery in any way or should a sticker?
