I agree. I was hoping that the trained it so it doesn't come in contact with the drone. Possibly drop a net onto it but then again it would need to get close and will endanger the bird.
I was wondering why they haven't brought the eagles out to catch the drones. Turns out that the Dutch have abandoned the project due to concerns of injury to the eagles. Which makes sense.
If they catch these people. They need to be put away for a long time and spend their life repaying the damage they cost. The disruption they caused to potentially millions of people during one of the busiest time of the year is immense. People going home and away to see their loves one. Heck...
I flew close to a luxurious parked yacht. As soon as I got close, I got severe interference and start losing control over the drone. So do be careful as they probably have some kind of satellite receiver or GPS stuff that might cause interference.
Before I start seeing signal is weak. My video starts stuttering. I always fly the MA while I'm under a tree or shade so I'm pretty sure that weakens the signal.
When video starts stuttering, I immediately turn the aircraft around and put it in sport mode. There are a few times where I got...
I flew at night once so I had to turn the landing protection and VPS off. It landed very hard because I was expecting it hover before it lands. I landed at full speed lol.
I just got my repaired drone back. After activating the new drone, it says care refresh not detected and asked me if I want to purchase one. I can't seem to find instructions on how to register it. After logging into the dji website, I can see the care refresh is still applied to my old drone S/N.
I spent a couple of days learning DR. Took me like 3-5 hours to make my first short video. After my fifth video, I got the hang of it and can pump out videos pretty quickly. Most of the time it is looking through all my video footage to determine which one should be in the video.
I probably...
Correct me if I'm wrong. Only issue with refresh is that you need to send the drone back. Doesn't work if you have lost it completely. With personal article insurance, it doesn't have that restrictions.
I was using activeshots on my MA and it crashed into the top of the tree. I thought it had plenty of clearance but it was hard to judge when you're looking from far away. It dropped 47 feet and smashed into the ground. Only thing that was damaged was the the landing arm. Just the plastic bit at...
Logged the case with refresh. I was just thinking it is a cosmetic issue so it might be cheaper to go with Thunderdrones. Just renewing my renter insurance so I better add it to the policy too!
Will report back later possibly with photos.
