I like the MM most because of travels.

Today, my update went smooth using DJI Assistant on Windows. (fresh download and installation of DJI Assistant 2 made as step 1) The Mavic 2 remains visible so that the firmware can be up- and downgrade or refreshed.

I cannot support this experience.

Well, go for the SC. I love it. However, be aware that the next Ocusync 3 is rumored to come out early 2020 which may limit the use of the SC to M2.

Does anyone know the dimensions of the Mavic Mini Remote - brackets open and closed? What is the maximum dimension for a smart phone in the bracket?

I have ordered the Mavic Mini with Fly More Combo for travels. Being used to M2P with SC, I would prefer a dedicated mobile device (without SIM use). Considering - App-stability and a - bright screen, which - reasonable priced mobile phone (or small tablet) would you recommend?
