Hi - I want to get some aerial shots of my house in the suburbs. I feel like I'm good to go as far as CASA is concerned, should I just tell my neighbours as a courtesy or am I being paranoid? I'm concerned someone's going to have a whinge about a drone spying on them or something like that...

On my Mac I use a tool called Hazel to do this. I just dump everything captured on the card into a single folder and Hazel creates subfolders by date, then in each subfolder creates folders for the type of file (raw, jpeg, mov, etc). It’s a huge time saver.

A quick (30 seconds) couple of shots of our caravan on the road, and some wind turbines we passed.

The only evidence I found was in the app. From the main screen, not flight mode, go into Profile > Device Management > Value-added Service. This tells me which controller it’s bound to and whether the care package is valid. The only thing I’ve seen online is the order confirmation.

In a way I hope that excitement never goes away. I’ve had my A2S, first drone, for about 10 days now and flying up and away at speed is just awesome. Like accelerating in a fast car or something. Welcome!
