I haven't seen any smart controllers on ebay or amazon that are a lot cheaper than new. Most of what I've seen are around $50 bucks cheaper. I'd love to have one but I can't justify a controller that costs almost as much as I paid for my entire fly more kit. I'd love to find an alternative...

I've used 3rd party cables and adapters and have always had issues with connectivity. The only one that works consistently is the cable that came with it.

Wow, Cox airplane, using cox glow fuel...that brings back memories. I had an old beat up moped that wasn't worth anything so I was fooling around and put a can of cox glow fuel in it. ran like a banshee for about half a mile before the engine seized up.
Don't know if they're on sale in other states or how long they'll be on sale but I live in the Phoenix area and found out the Mavic Pro original batteries are on sale for 59.00. Not all stores sell them and I had to order mine online and do a store pickup to make sure they had it in stock...
