Mavic Pro was my first drone. Read manual and looked at a lot of video tips before I purchased. My first flight was nerve racking after hearing so many crash stories but it was really easy. Still learning other modes and techniques but I feel it was a good decision in which I can grow and learn...

Feels like they are starting to take the same approach as Apple and Gopro. Minimal upgrades just to please the market while keeping revenues up.

We can all dream but hopefully they will have a better gimble/camera that is well protected and durable. Too many stories of crashes where the drone works but not the gimble.

Anyone heard of UVIFY Draco? Just found this and it’s main focus is speed and extreme cinematography. States it’s capable of speeds of 100mph. UVify Draco - UVify Inc.

I see no reason to get rid of the Mavic Pro. Similar specs, longer flight time, to me still really portable... and have you seen that ugly control from the air? Either way you can still find the Mavic Pro at the same similar starting price of the Mavic Air. Makes no sense to buy the Mavic Air.

Probably it will replace the spark with the same price point. They already have the Tello as the starting drone. Mavic Air mid range and Mavic Pro platinum.
