I fly a DJI Mini 3 Pro. I wonder what others suggest as a good rule of thumb for maintaining VLOS. I set my controller to a maximum distance of 1,000-feet. And that seems to work for me.

Related, I wanted to make sure SkyWatch was legit, so I checked the Arizona insurance site - they are.
I would politely defend you are not a nuisance. You are licensed and abide by FAA regulations and safety practices of reputable CBO's. You do not fly over people, moving vehicles, and maintain a safe distance from the public. You should thank them for being concerned with nuisances and...
I have a question regarding this. Except as explained in the above categories, am I able to ‘transit’ over people. If I want to move my drone from Point A and Point B, can I fly over people (not an assembly)?
I’d like to add a 2” x 2” x 1.25” charger to the case. Guess I could store batteries in the charger, and enlarge the 2 battery slots (in the case) to hold the charger?
Yeh, back of the battery might be a good spot. I would prefer to put it on the bottom of the drone, but the Mini 3 sits so low to the ground, I’m afraid I’d land on the light. Battery on the back would give me best visibility when flying away from me.
