This EXACTLY mirrors my test experience. I thought I was ready, that I had seen all the material...nope!

Under system select apps then the DJI fly app then clear cache

In app settings you can disable the auto-start of Fly. That way, you can choose the control app you want to use.

Had to clear my cache to get the last update to install.

Yep, it stores a low res image on the RC Pro

Settings>System>Reset options>Erase all data (factory reset)

Not a singe issue since I did the factor reset. All's well...

This is the EXACT issue I'm having with m Air 2 S / RC Pro combo. Gray screen, frozen image, with a brief moment of control. I did a factory reset of the RC Pro last night and all seems OK now. DJI support says: Thanks for contacting DJI Technical Support and I hope you doing fine today...

So here's an interesting point. I did a factory reset on my RC Pro and 100% of my issues are gone. It flies as well as it ever has...no dropped connections! No clue why.
