It looks like you used a slow shutter speed clearly to get this effect which by the way is great. Having the drone hover combined with the slow shutter could reduce the sharpness that concerns you. Faster shutter speeds are must better but you looses the water effect. Try it with the drone on...
Damaged sensors most likely, you could try another cable between your controller and phone they are sometimes problematic. This may solve the pixilation, not so sure about the sensors.
Dji need to re think this because just landing or even hovering could be more dangerous than just initiating RTH. These NFZs are causing unnecessary problems and a re think of responses to them is needed.

Its all about litigation, if they say you can use model aircraft when one hurts someone which they do, they get sued. If they say you cant and you do they cant get sued only you can! Its been law in the uk for many years, drones are not excluded as they are aircraft.
I agree with the constant updates being a total pain and that they could be delivered better however the manual operation of all the camera features to the level that you suggest on such a cheap drone would be unrealistic.
Of course the rice does not get rid of corrosion, so if your Mavic goes into salty water then you must rinse it thoroughly in warm/hot water asap to get the salt out which causes corrosion first. Make sure that its raw rice too! It does work if you do it properly and quickly!

I live on the south coast uk and believe me its awful for flying to. Just wait till you read all the blogs and see all the great shots of USA on here, makes you want to move there!
I'm no guru but I would check it out on the Mavic via pc, check for updates will trigger the battery check to and see what it says. It does not look like much from the photo. If you are still worried use it for close flights only.
