Tip: One needs to think like an aircraft pilot in order to study, write, and pass this exam. If one had taken Aircraft Ground School then the test would be much easier. There are a number of rule/regulation questions which we all need to know. In my opinion the exam had far too many aircraft...

I found that it would help if one thought of the exam as a pilot exam as there were many questions contained in the exam that pertained to flying an airplane rather than flying a drone from the ground. Think like a pilot and it will help. I assume eventually the test questions will become more...

I passed the Advanced. Taking my flight review around the end of March.

In a recent flight from Kelowna BC Canada to Phoenix and back, no problems or questions at all about my Mavic Pro 2. I had it in a hard case. All good. No issues.

I sure hope DJI gets their act together before June 1.

We could get asked questions about what levers control what items on a Helicopter and what we should do if we are piloting an airplane and the control tower tell us something and we see something else....what should we do? We who are not pilots and perhaps never even been close to a helicopter...
