I know most of the parks on the Kansas side have ordinances like that but I don't know about MO. Never had an issue, but my house is right next to Minor Park so I just take off and land from my deck.

I went to Longview Lake over the weekend and it was great. I'd imagine it may get a bit crowded once it warms up, but for now it's awesome

Definitely be careful of the downtown airport. There's lots of cool places that are within five miles. I fly around Minor Park a lot. There's also some good open areas south of Martin City.

The altitude displayed on the controller is based on the point of takeoff, not height above ground. This will give you weird altitude readings so you will have to be careful to make sure you are not flying too low

I've had this happen with the Go4 app before. I had to do a RTH on the controller since I couldn't see the Mavic behind some trees. Very annoying, but could have been much worst under the circumstances.

I guess I need to go to New Zealand now. This was awesome.

I can read the previously-saved content on the card from my computer, or from the Mavic. The problem is that it won't save anything new. I have another card, but I'm hesitant to test it out given what happened to this one...

I can't even format the card from my computer, can't delete any files, can't do anything. This setting seriously screwed up my card for some reason.

I flew in - 5F yesterday and the Mavic flew just fine. Biggest problem is the winter wind. Watch out for condensation when you bring it inside, though
