Haven't been out for a while but I want to know if I can take stills while shooting HD or 4K video, I can on my video camera but can't find anything about this on the Mavic (or haven't looked hard enough).
Here CASA states 30 metres (100'), unless party to the operation which does not include spectators at a sporting event or players but can include an individual who wants images of themselves performing.

The aperture is fixed and you can only adjust the shutter and ISO hence the need for ND filters in bright light.
I have also seen a graduated ND which could be useful for stark contrast between sky and land, I have used them on DSLR and they take some getting used to, drone would be harder...

The first one with the Mavic, a bit washed out, doing some major landscaping work at home, horse roundyard in the top right and a 1 acre arena just out of sight is all a work in progress.

Computers are very much a personal thing now it is probably worth getting one built, I went down this track and opted for 500gb SSD, i7 processor (I do a lot of RAW images with work on a 36mp camera and it takes a while to process), 1TB HD plus a 5TB external drive and a few 2TB external drives...
