So I have an RC signal strength icon on the top display bar in the go4 app. Same as the icon on the RC. On the RC it shows full bars. The icon in the app shows no bars. The go4 manual on the dji site does not even show this icon is there. Anyone know why it shows no bars in the app??

I don't have a wifi network. Tether it to my phone. Only when enabled, and wifi is turned off on the device.

Oh! And something else I forgot to mention! The app also told me "new safe fly data" (or whatever it's called) is available. How would it know!? When I say this phone has not been online since before the last flight, I am not confused about that. How does this happen?

Same cable I have always used. No trouble before. Am I crazy, or does it seem a little bit strange that the app is finding firmware mismatches!? Last round of updates had everything great and matched. Firmware doesn't just change itself.

New to rooting phones. So you would need to have google maps installed on the device? And how would you go about using/storing offline maps with this method?
