I live in the Uk, in my local park surrounded by 100’s of houses I can get 300m out. Out in a more rural setting I’ve had it out 800m..... are you sure yours is ok?

I’ve just had a proper fly with mine, I used to own an mpp.... this just doesn’t feel any different. The range is perfect for me and image quality likewise. I get that it’s a sawn of version of an mpp in just about every way but unless you’re a dedicated photographer none of it is an issue...

The mini probably has it's speed restricted to stay consistently under the amp rating of the battery (i've noticed it's really quite slow), whereas it may be spiking when dealing with wind

I just took mine out, very happy with it. Got 300 metres out and 100 metres up in a park in a residential area before getting any weak signal, it lives up to my expectations, though having to take the sticks off everytime to go back in the case is a little annoying.

I have about twelve air craft LOS planes/wings and racing quads, i did have a mavic pro when first released but soon got bored with it, since selling it on i've missed it but can't justify that sort of commitment to a dji.... i picked up my mm fly more yesterday and imo it will be a perfect fit...

i have long range wings using li lion batteries, they can only handle a certain amount of current draw. the extra power needed to cope with wind and the stick full forward in sport is obviously drawing too many amps..... which is a concern

I’m charging now, can’t wait for the morning, looks better wind wise.... I had the original Mavic Pro when it first came out so it’ll be interesting to see how well this can do what it says it can.

Check your local Argos, I did and two within an hour of me (Reading) had stock, I have a fly more in my hands right now from high Wycombe

being lithium ion is it pulling too many amps when the wind gets up?
