I took mine to Japan in April. I was not asked about the drone at all. I did, however, bought a lithium battery case that has provided covers for the connectors. I did not voluntarily said that I had a drone. It passed through numerous xray machines, nothing was asked.

I used to fly around Lake Skinner until I was told by a worker (he looks dirty for a Ranger) that I cannot fly there. Now I don't fly at all pending a good place to fly.

I really need to find a place by the Temecula/Anza area. Lake Skinner is out of the list as they are not welcoming drone flyers due to 'endangered species" living in the area.

I bought 2 of the $799 Costco deal. Both worked flawlessly. I have never bought any electronic item that have issues from Costco. I missed the Typhoon H deal they had before the mavic.

Mavic is the old model and they want to get rid of them. The MPP will be the only step up version from the MA and possibly a new Mavic Pro 2 on the horizon.

I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab and an IPhone 7 Plus on my Mavic Air/ Pro interchangeably. I have not noticed anything different or otherwise.

Any good places in Temecula? The only place I have seen that's not a NFZ is Lake Skinner Park. But being a State Park, it could be snobby around drones.
