Just came out last night for android, does anyone know if it is available for apple yet? I would imagine so as apple usually gets updates before android....

    Flying in airspace/NFZ without permisson

Considering that the mavic mini will be light enough to not need to be registered with the faa, would anyone know if this also means it can fly in airspace and NFZs without permission? I cant seem to find any information in a google search so I am asking here. Thanks, Caleb

    Mavic Pocket

Yep I understand ya there. But there was a day when people could barely imagine something the size of a mavic 2. It might be far off, but we will get there.

    Mavic Pocket

I was just thinking... Wouldn't it be great to have a Mavic pocket? Something with maybe a body the size of the spark but with folding arms... I would envision activetrack 2.0, omnidirectional obstacle sensing, occusync 2 with long range wifi capabilities etc.

    Rain

I agree. I'm not at all saying its not worth it, I'm sure you are definitely getting what you are paying for. But it's just not what I can afford right now. I do want to buy a used P4 though, so maybe soon will be the right time.

    Rain

Interesting. Looks like the Phantom 5 will be a very cool drone. Only thing that scares me is the price. ;) $1700-$2500 range without even an extra battery seems steep.

    Wouldn't that be something.

    Rain

Just started up the drone and the controller, they connected and sensors were working, started the motors with no problems. Just to let you know everything was good. I will not try rain flying again unless I have to.

    Rain

Yes I did take out the battery and check the contacts and stuff, it did not seem to be wet to any extent inside the battery compartment, and I don't think anything would have got inside the holes considering there was not anything near on inside the battery compartment/contacts... I would check...

    Rain

I see all your concerns. I can definitely see it is not a good idea to fly in rain. I did try it yesterday though, just in a light rain, nothing heavy, with both my Mavic 2 and my Mavic 1, and it worked good no problems. It was covereed in droplets when it came down, but it did not seem to...
