Anyone that thinks those countries are paying the tariffs doesn't know what tariffs are, gullible US consumers pay for them as a tax as increased costs for goods. Meanwhile our economy and investments go to hel.
Sorry for your loss, it's strange how often these mishaps happen over water. Guess they get posted more often because recovery is not possible and cause left in doubt. Hopefully you'll be flying again soon, with a different drone of course.
As suggested, the absorbant gel packs work well (rice does little if any good). When drones get wet, the batteries and connections are the most important to get dry asap. Motors can handle fresh water but electronics will need to be exposed and dried after a total dunking. Sounds like you got...
Nice shots, and vid. I'll never forget seeing 'the green' before a tornado hit my house in '92 (pre drone days). Everything turned green, no other color at all..just green. Hid in the bathroom, neighborhood destroyed. Lived through 3 tornados on Florida west coast.. and it's Not even tornado...
And DJI will send back a like new replacement at fair price. Every repair I've gotten from them has been replaced with a vrabd new unit. Unless you crash often, it's a better than buying Refresh.
