Sounds like your compass didn't match the direction the drone was facing at takeoff..if so, magnetic interference. Did you calibrate the compass before flight and/or takeoff in proximity of metal, rebar, vehicles, etc.? Upon liftoff the drone becomes confused about where it's supposed to be and...

Nice but hopefully the wet shots weren't the Air1. That little drone began many a new hobby, good to see it still does the job..

About the lag you're getting, appears that FLY is fighting for power used by other apps running on your device. Should improve by shutting down other power intensive apps running in background during your fights.

Skydio has been forced to admit that the majority of their internals are coming from the same China suppliers as DJI. China only had to stop/delay parts shipments to the US to halt Skydio production, at least until they can source the same items elsewhere..like Korea (but from same China...

I wouldn't do any firmware change unless absolutely necessary. Best to do an IMU calibration any time your flights turn wonky/abnormal..instructions in the FLY app.That usually cures what ails ya.
