Well, I am beginning to see the writing on the wall so I sold my Mavic pro but I still have my EVO 1. Not going to buy anymore drones unless I decide to get a 107 then I will get a Mavic 2. Started taking Sport Pilot lessons instead, in a Airborne Trike. Better IPV (In Person View) anyway. :D

I had the same issue on Mavic Pro. Very slow yaw, correctable with stick input. Calibrated compass, fixed it instantly.

This is where the confusion comes in, (from your link) " Follow community-based safety guidelines and fly within the programming of a nationwide community-based organization" there's is FPV rules in there and FAA says no sorta. IMO. Crazy. I guess we all have to see how it all shakes out.

Recreational Fliers & Modeler Community-Based Organizations. Very fuzzy on FAA side of things, but AMA rules for FPV are in their rules.
