I went on a Carnival cruise in December and they let me take it on board no problem, but they strictly prohibit the use of drones while on the ship. It is your responsibility to know the drone laws/rules for the ports you visit, so do your homework first. In my opinion it was worth it for me.

I use 2, Samsung Tab Pro 8.4" and a Samsung S7 Edge. Both work great for me, neither one is rooted.

Don't fight it, don't need to turn off any sensors...Simply "land" it on your hand. Just hold your hand out when the Mavic is about 3 feet above your hand, and simply land it on your hand. It will land gently then immediately the motors will shut off...Easy peasy

With the app connected to the drone, on the MC settings tab, the top setting is "Remote Identification". Speaking for Android only, I can not comment on the IOS version of GO4. EDIT: You can turn it off, HOWEVER you must do so for every flight as it defaults back to "ON".

As per Royal Caribbean's prohibited list you can not bring an aerial drone... Prohibited items: Firearms & Ammunition, including realistic replicas. Sharp Objects, including all knives and scissors. (Note: Personal grooming items such as safety razors are allowed. Scissors with blade length...
