No color choice in photo mode

In photo mode you can use raw format (DNG) to apply all the color correction in post processing.

Totally flummoxed. - where are the dng files

Have you tried browsing your sd card with "calculate all sizes" enabled in the View Option (cmd J)? This will show you the dimension of the folders of the sd card and tell you where your dng files are located.

    Do I need ND filters?

It will overexpose if you use auto exposure mode not in manual. I totally agree with your second sentence. Nd filters are used in photography to increase shutter speed to get motion blur when you can't (or don't want to) close the aperture.

    Do I need ND filters?

So, what do you use them for?

    Do I need ND filters?

Yes, you definitely need ND filters if you shoot video. Best aperture on Hasselblad lens is between 2.8-4.0 and shutter speed should be set at 1/60 for a fluid render of the video at 30 fps. So you need at least a 8-16 ND if you shoot at sunset or in cloudy weather and a 16-32 ND in bright sun...

Mavic pro 2 newwwwb please help

The first thing I bought after my Mavic pro 2 was a set of 3 ND/Polarizing filters from Polarpro (4, 8, and 16 density). I use them in daylight to keep the shutter speed at 1/60 of a second and aperture f/4 when shooting videos.

Poor range - is there a setting I've missed?

I have the SC too and I use it with the antennas pointing perpendicular to the ground when I want to reach a long horizontal distance. That should optimise the range of the signal.

Do you have a standard controller or the Smart Controller?

    Orange and teal sunset.

Nice shot. I would reduce cyan on the left side of the sky. Also the horizon is too centered, I would probably cut a bit at the bottom to make the photo less simmetric.
