Ok, it sounds like my best bet is to maybe use Maven? Or Litchi (I like Litchi because I’ve used it more) to have the drone fly autonomously while I operate the zoom.

Thank you for your comment; I don’t think there is a P-GPS switch on the Mavic Air 2 remote (there is on the remote for my P3P). Litchi is great, and probably won’t need a ‘fail safe’ but it’s nice to know it’s available, if necessary.

Hi KewDok, it turns out that SUBJECT SCANNING was turned off under CONTROL. I’m not sure why it got turned off (perhaps during one of the app updates). Everything is working great now. ?
