I believe you have to bind the transmitter (flight controller) as well. Seems counterintuitive since it's the aircraft that's of concern, but there it is. They got me on that the first time.

Contact them. They'll probably replace it for $49 US.

How does one "roll" a mini 2? I was thinking all the 'aileron" control (right stick left and right) did was cause the aircraft to move to that side. I think they call it "translate." Is there some way to get the aircraft to actually roll?

Being real new at this with a (now drowned) Mini 2, I'm wondering if this is anything like RC airplanes where one remote controller can be used with multiple aircraft. (Although I guess the receiver had to be the same.) That is, if DJI doesn't give me a break on a replacement, will the RC work...
