I have the same issue. Just learned to live with it; only takes a minute to calibrate!

In Brazil I had all sorts of birds dive bombing my Air. Even minuscule colibris would go for it!

Yeah, annoying! But in my case it doesn’t seem to affect anything. I just use a couple of toothpick tips to “lock” them in place.

Here in Sweden I’ve noticed that birds tend to shy away, but when I was in Brazil all birds, swallows and even sparrows “dive-bombed” my Air!

At the base swivel; they just tend to flop to either side. A pain in the ... and like I said, after only about 10 flights!

Hi! After only about 10 flights my antennas have gotten rather loose and floppy. Anybody else experienced this? Obviously an easy fix, but still annoying.

No. Empty space in the countryside! Nothing nearby!

I get the Magnetic Interference message a couple of times, then it recalibrates. It’s just frustrating that when I return to the same spot, I have to repeat the procedure. Manually starting and taking off, is that possible without recalibration?

Great isn’t it?! At heart we’re just kids... who can afford slightly more expensive toys! Myself, I’m 56 years young!

Quick question: is it possible to “force” a take-off despite the app telling me I need to recalibrate the compass? I can go out to the same spot within a couple of hours, and have to recalibrate the compass again. Gets a bit frustrating. Grateful for a quick answer.
