Not sure if I’d ever get a newer Phantom at some point...but anything is possible. You “unlocked” it to be able to utilize other modes? Thumbswayup I’m sure I would fly it for other reasons than just atti practice (I do have a GoPro that I can put on it)...but that would be the motivation...

I’m comfortable with it...and comfort wasn’t the issue. The issue is flying the Mavic in atti...beginner mode does not mimic the MP in atti. o_O -yup

Thanks! I bought a cheap toy drone to practice with but it doesn’t hold altitude and the throttle response is so inconsistent that I don’t feel it would mimic a Mavic at all. I pretty much just mess with it when I’m waiting for the grill to heat up outside...no longer try to “practice”...

What would you consider a good cheap no-gps drone to practice with?

My editing skills are worse than amateur but I had some crap clips from testing out the Mavic and Spark that I had to do something with them... o_O

I looked at the CrystalSky too but with the price, they’re pretty proud of that display. I considered just jumping right into one and bypassing the iPad Mini all together but I haven’t been able to figure out if it’s really worth the money to me.
